Heating potatoes and rice in the microwave can prove to be
harmful to health. There are many other foods that should not be heated.
People need to take care of their food and drink to be
healthy and fit. But nowadays people are very careless about their health. Many
people like to eat hot food and because of this they heat food in the
microwave, but do you know that heating food in the microwave can prove to be
harmful to your health.
Just as food kept in plastic should not be eaten, similarly, food should not be heated in the microwave. Often people heat rice and potatoes in
the microwave, but doing so is wrong.

Why should rice not be heated?
Recommendation from the food agency, occasionally heating
rice in a microwave can cause food poisoning. By doing this, the bacterium
named Bacillus cereus is resistant to rice. According to the International
Journal of Food Microbiology, the hit kills the bacteria, But it can cause
spots, which are the damage factor. Many studies confirm that once rice comes
out of the microwave and left at room temperature, it has the potential to
cause food poisoning due to the existing spores. The risk increases.

By heating the baked potato in the microwave, the bacteria
present in it does not die due to which health can be affected. Cooking the
potatoes in aluminum foil protect the bacteria C, botulinum from heat, meaning
it can still thrive if the potato stays at room temperature, and causes
botulism.
Green leafy vegetables: -
Instead of heating coriander or spinach in the microwave,
heat it in a conventional oven. Studies show that heating in a microwave can
turn into nitrates, which can be carcinogenic.
